FIRST VALIDATION DOMAIN

Begin where the whole plant can be understood.

We are focusing first on water-cooled central chilled-water plants in noncritical buildings. A clear operating boundary makes it possible to examine the data, the physics and the decisions together.

What a suitable first plant looks like.

An initial fit discussion considers the plant as a complete system. These are approximate qualification criteria, not a guarantee of compatibility or a statement of proven product coverage.

A bounded plant

Generally two to four water-cooled chillers, approximately 500–5,000 refrigeration tons, and a clearly documented hydraulic arrangement.

Usable measurements

Plant electrical-power metering and delivered-cooling measurement, with enough history and context to judge data quality.

An accessible system

BACnet or Modbus supervisory access, usable plant drawings, equipment information and operating sequences.

Clear responsibility

A named site operator, authorised access and an agreed route for reviewing any future operating change.

Start with what the plant already knows.

The first step is a read-only review of available information and its limitations. We would agree the scope with the site team, map the relevant equipment and points, and identify gaps before proposing a validation programme. The fit review may conclude that additional measurement or documentation is needed.

Agree what a useful result would mean.

A validation plan should define the question being tested, the system boundary, the comparison conditions and the acceptance criteria before results are assessed. Energy use must be interpreted alongside delivered cooling, plant load and relevant operating conditions. We do not advertise a guaranteed savings percentage.

Expand only after the domain is qualified.

Process cooling for food and beverage or pharmaceutical facilities is a future area for separate qualification. Production requirements, hygiene, quality and operational criticality can change the problem materially. Data-centre cooling is a later roadmap domain and would require its own reliability and operating assessment. These are development directions, not available deployment claims.
